Pelican’s Ultimate Match Fishing takes place on a 21 foot playing field known as the Ranger Z521 C. Powered by the new Evinrude G2 E-TEC Outboard, the UMF Ranger features a Minn Kota Trolling Motor, twin Humminbird Helix 10 units front and back and Talon Shallow Water Anchors. The Talons are a big part of Pelican’s Ultimate Match Fishing… so much so that we had to write a Talon Rule. If the angler in the front of the boat employs the Talon Shallow Water Anchors, the angler in the back of the boat can cast anywhere he wants without restriction. 

You’ll also notice two unique seats on the UMF Ranger Z521C. These are the new Millennium B100 series designed for a new class of comfort. Our competitors also have access to Boomerang Snips which cut through anything, included braided line, quickly and easily.
