Pickwick Lake:
For the first time ever Ultimate Match Fishing heads to Pickwick Lake in Tennessee for the Ultimate Match Fishing All-Stars. And better yet, we do it in the Fall! Our host site is Pickwick Landing State Park at the Pickwick Landing Dam. The amenities are incredible and the fishing is... you'll just have to see for yourself. Pickwick Lake was first impounded in 1938 as part of the Tennessee Valley Authority and runs 53 miles from the Mississippi-Alabama state lines through southwest Tennessee. Featuring over 490 miles of shoreline, Pickwick has some of the best bass fishing habitat in the nation. During the fall, bass will tend to school up in packs in search of baitfish as they prepare for the winter. Topwater baits fished over submerged vegetation could be the key to landing big stringers of fish. Our thanks to Tennessee State Parks, Pickwick Landing State Park, Pickwick Landing Inn, Charles Brewton, Mary Janes Mills and the entire staff at Pickwick Landing for their hospitality.
